Buckle up, mates — I’ve been grinding PUBG long enough to know when a Store update is worth cracking open the wallet, and the seventh Store update of 2025 was absolutely one of those moments. I’m talking a brand-new Survivor Pass, a slick PUBG x aespa crossover, M79 skins that look like pure magic, and a PNC 2025 crafting lineup that had the whole community buzzing. Since we’re now in 2026, consider this my full breakdown of what hit the shelves and what might circle back through the Workshop, Your Shop, or future events.
One thing I genuinely appreciated from Update 36.2 onward is the new item tooltip behavior. The game started flagging when an item can’t be equipped with certain outfits, or when content using it can’t be monetized due to copyright restrictions. That’s a proper quality-of-life win, especially if you’re a creator or just someone who hates buying skins that clash with your drip. Just keep in mind: all featured items may return later via the Workshop, Your Shop, other in-game features, events, or promotions. Sales periods can also shift, so don’t take every date as gospel.
Survivor Pass: Kiss the Sun
Crank up the heat this summer with Survivor Pass: Kiss the Sun. In my opinion, this was the headline act of the update — perfect for anyone who wanted to grind out rewards while the summer lobbies were absolutely cooking.

-
PC: July 9 after live server maintenance – August 6, 00:00
-
Console: July 17 after live server maintenance – August 14, 00:00
The pass had that sun-soaked energy, and it was a no-brainer if you were already planning to put in hours. The timer was tight, though, so if you snoozed, you lost.
PUBG x aespa Collaboration
Ready to feel the metallic edge of the PUBG x aespa collaboration? This crossover was one of the flashiest parts of the update, and the full details were teased through the dedicated collaboration announcement.

I should flag this clearly: images, videos, or posts created using the collaboration products in a way that isn’t supported by in-game features, or isn’t recommended, may be deleted without your consent if management decides it doesn’t match the purpose and intent of the collaboration. That’s covered under Articles 3, 6, and 18 of the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Terms of Service. Depending on severity, it could even lead to sanctions under Article 5 of the Rules of Conduct. In plain English: don’t get too creative with the collab content outside the intended lanes.
PGC 2024 Champion Set: The Expendables
“Honor the Unstoppable Champions: The Expendables!”
This set celebrated the extraordinary triumph of The Expendables, champions of the PUBG Global Championship 2024. What made it special for me was that it was personally designed in collaboration with the team, so the signature style actually carries the spirit of champions into every battle.

-
PC: July 9 after live server maintenance – August 13, 00:00
-
Console: July 17 after live server maintenance – August 21, 00:00
If you were a fan of The Expendables, this was pure collectible gold.
Pigff Collaboration Skins
The update also introduced Pigff’s new collaboration skins. It’s one of those drops where the community either goes all in or just watches from the sidelines — but the skins definitely had personality.

M79 Weapon Skins and Contraband Crate
The July Contraband Crate came with brand-new M79 weapon skins. The pitch was simple: obscure your enemies’ vision and dominate the fight with the Magical Mist. That’s a wild effect, and it looked even better in motion.

-
Magical Mist – Contraband Crate (Open 10): 50% discount on the first purchase.
-
PC: July 9 after live server maintenance – December 3, 00:00
-
Console: July 17 after live server maintenance – December 11, 00:00
You could grab two variants: Purple Magical Mist – M79 and Blue Magical Mist – M79. If you wanted to check your odds, the probabilities for items from Contraband Crates were available on the Hideout – Contraband – More Details – View Probabilities page. And if you unboxed one of these, the M79 skins were hiding on the Customize – Weapons – Misc page.
PNC 2025 Special Crafting and Store
PNC 2025 was bigger and better, and it landed in both the Workshop and the Store. To craft one PNC 2025 Loot Cache at Workshop – Regular Crafting, you needed to collect 10 PNC 2025 Loot Cache Fragments. Various events offered fragments, so the July Special Drops announcement was required reading.
The Workshop added PNC 2025 Costume sets, PNC 2023 Favorites sets, and 24 PNC 2025 National Team-themed helmets, alongside other items. A total of 36 items were craftable with PNC 2025 Tokens at Special Crafting.

The Special Crafting – PNC 2025 Crafting tab was only accessible until August 11, 00:00 on PC and August 19, 00:00 on console. You could earn PNC 2025 Tokens through Special Disassembly by disassembling Imprints from the PNC 2025 Prime Parcel.

If you were short on tokens, the Store had you covered with a Starter Pack and Loot Cache Packs, plus voting coupons.
| Package | Price | Contents | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| PNC 2025 Starter Pack | 3,500 G-Coin | PNC 2025 Loot Cache x15, Voting Coupon x5, PNC 2025 Token x400 | PC: July 16, 02:00 – July 25, 08:00 |
| Loot Cache Pack x1 | 250 G-Coin or 10,000 BP | PNC 2025 Loot Cache x1 | PC: July 16, 02:00 – August 6, 00:00 |
| Loot Cache Pack x11 | 2,500 G-Coin | PNC 2025 Loot Cache x11 | PC: July 16, 02:00 – August 6, 00:00 |
| Loot Cache Pack x27 | 6,250 G-Coin | PNC 2025 Loot Cache x27 | PC: July 16, 02:00 – August 6, 00:00 |
| Loot Cache Pack x55 | 12,500 G-Coin | PNC 2025 Loot Cache x55 | PC: July 16, 02:00 – August 6, 00:00 |
Console dates ran from July 24, 02:00 to August 14, 00:00. A few important notes: the Starter Pack could be purchased once per account, up to 3 voting coupons could be purchased per account on PC only, and keys were not required to open the Loot Caches. Due to legal regulations, the Loot Cache Packs were not available in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Currency Selection feature was available for the PNC 2025 Loot Cache Pack x1, allowing up to 50 purchases using either G-Coin or BP.
Expired tokens disappeared and could not be refunded or exchanged — PC’s deadline was August 11, 00:00, while console’s was August 19, 00:00. Previews were available for all items in the Loot Cache Packs, and token expiry dates were displayed in the Store preview.
PNC 2025 Pick'em Challenge
The PNC 2025 Pick'em Challenge was the cherry on top. The Esports tab launched in the lobby, and the Overview page gave the tournament schedule and prize pool details. The Pick'em Challenge page showed participating teams, remaining voting coupons, Esports Points, and the Esports Point Shop button. One notable change: Pick the Winner now rewarded players who voted for teams finishing in the top 9, up from the previous top 6. You could exchange Esports Points for PNC 2025 Tokens in the Esports Point Shop.
Happy shopping — and if you missed this one, keep your eyes peeled because PUBG loves bringing popular items back around.
